Also: Bruce Nelson, one of our 6 Nelsons, moved to Iowa in the summer of
1958, so he's not shown here, but he is in the 50th Reunion book. Here's a link to his brass-instrument-playing book:

Possible assistance: Hidden Figures*Question: Any Glenbard-California connections, historical or otherwise? -- might be basis of a
West-Coast-branch reunion.
*Answer: Well, aside from the many who moved from our area to California, consider these place names
in California, starting with, if you will excuse the spelling:
Glen Ellen : Lombard
and continuing with:
Elmhurst : Hillside
La Grange : Lake Forest
Naperville : Villa Park
Wheaton : Winnetka
and finally: Chicago
A West-Coast-branch reunion in California would be in familiar territory, would it not?
Texas - Florida! Can you claim the same?
*Question: Is the Dupage Movie Theatre still there in downtown Lombard?
*Answer: Long gone. It and the adjacent shops, which dated from 1922, were put on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987, and
there were several renovation plans thereafter. They all fell through and in May of 2007 a big crane tore everything down. Google images has pictures of this.
